Sample 2.4 MB 7Z File — Free Download for Testing
sample-archive-medium.7z · 2,418,831 bytes · 7 entries
This is a 2.4 MB sample 7Z file — exactly 2,418,831 bytes, generated by us rather than scraped, so the size is deliberate and the contents are free of anyone else's copyright. 7 files • LZMA2 (7 entries). Use it to test an upload limit near 2.4 MB, to time a transfer, or as a fixture whose hash never changes.
Sizes here are decimal: 2.4 MB means 2,418,831 bytes, not 2.31 MiB. If your limit is expressed in binary units, check the exact byte count above before assuming this file is under it.

Frequently asked questions
How big is this 7Z file exactly?
Exactly 2,418,831 bytes (2.4 MB using decimal units, where 1 MB = 1,000,000 bytes). Binary-unit tools will show a slightly different number: 2.31 MiB. The SHA-256 on this page lets you confirm you received the same file byte for byte.
What can I test with a 2.4 MB 7Z file?
Upload size limits that sit near 2.4 MB, transfer timing, storage quotas, and any pipeline that behaves differently above or below a size threshold. Pick the file just under and just over your limit to find out whether the limit is inclusive.
Is this file free to use commercially?
Yes. It is generated from scratch by our own open script — no third-party copyright, no scripts or macros inside — and free for any purpose including commercial products and redistribution, with no attribution required.
